Here are som' more stuff, this time some drawings of a novel character. It was originally for NaNoWritMo, but I screwed upped, never got started. The main character is called Steve B., he's a brown looking for a job after his friend (Ricky, a raccoon IT-guy) kicked him out.

It's a slice of life, random events-plot, with a bit of coming of age elements.



So here's the drawing I did. It was a quick ref for an art trad, with my home-boy Sonic-ock! Aka Spary-jones! Aka Sparkevil! Ryan T. O'Dizzle! Check em', he's the sheet@11 O' clock!

Really gotta finsh my half of the trade, stop being lazybum!

I wasn't too happy with this after I had finished and posted it to tumblr, it looks more like an... an anteater? I guess?



Here's the second (or third a if I count the sketch did while hanging with my cousin and his girlfriend.) a temp at drawing Steve, and it's a little better, but still needed more tweaking. I showed it to my mother (who worked with a lot animal bones back in the 70's) and said his snout was to long and to narrow, and I found looking through some, that his forehead was to small.



This the drawing after some tweaking, shorten and widen the snout, made the forehead a bit bigger, still needs more work.

I'll be working on some character sketches. BYE!

Tis was to be an art piece for a Pee Herman themed gallery show, but alas, it went out of whack, I couldn't get it to come together, and I utterly missed the deadline.
Oh well, it was a lesson learnt; Don't screw around until the last minute (Actually I didn't any such lesson, cause I'm big O dingus.)

I usually jump back and forth between the two, but I most of the time lounge in flash for most of my loose, quicker work, and mostly go to Illustrator when I need a program that can do more heavy lifting.
