Hello, I'm Tacbot, I used to lark around little ways. I had to make a new account (Cause I can't get back into old one.)

I had sketch-thread back I used to visit (Hell, had one back in the old server!), so I thought I'd start up a new.

Image

Some old doodles done in illustrator.

Image

A quick doodle in Opencanvas.

Image

A really stupid shirt design, based on a forum in-joke from eons ago.

A dino-bro drawn in flash.

Thanks bro-bro!

It's based on incident from little while back. And yes, this is gonna be a tshirt at some point, just gotta find a good printing service (Also might want to retouch it up a bit, treak the text a bit.)

Image
A raw scan of the first ever full comic-page I actually finished (It's like a freaking miracle!). things I used in drawing this page.

Sketching
1. Printer-paper
2. Cel-Erase pencils
3. A mechanical-pencils
4. Elastic erasers

Inking
1. A large light-box
2. A Pental Pocket Brushpen
3. Watercolor Brushs
4. Rapidographs and other kinds of technical-pens
4. Card-stock

Thing I should have used;
1. White-out or White-ink
2. A ruler
3. An Ames-lettering guide
4. A thumbnail!

Now I just need to clean it up and post it somewhere.

I'm gonna dump some stuff from my Photoshop-folder;

Image
An early comic stripe test, unfinished. I still kinda like it, I might just remake and finish it.

Spoiler! :
Image

An older test with vector in PS, from around 08 or 09 I think?

Hidden for a bad word about poop.

Image

An early attempt at a T-shirt design, based on a article about speech-bubbles and the various mistakes make speech-bubbles.
I really hate that speech-bubbles now.

Image

Another test with the pentool.

Spoiler! :
Image

An early attempt at colored-line art. Add the textured to make it more interesting to look at. Might remake this too.
Hidden for bad words and general bitter bunny.

Image
A panel from an unfinished comic page (Notice pattern here?)

Image

I might modify this and finish this.

Image

Ugggghhhh.

I'm done for the night, see you all tomorrow.

Got some cute stuff. I use Spreadshirt for printing, but I don't know what other cheap sites are out there. I've had good experiences with them so far.
I'd also recommend spell-checking, when you have the chance, especially for proper comic pages. (example: "complete" and "comic strip")

ArtRage is fun, but I'd definitely say it's easier to use the paint tools if you've used traditional paints. Even so, my first ArtRage drawings are pretty lulzy. xD
Everything takes practice.

Yeah, I need to look over my stuff about fifty times before it presentable to the public at large. (Also a lot of the Ps stuff were from while, when I was ever worse at spell checking things.)

Yeah, I should practice with some traditional paint some time. And I think it's safe to say that everyone early works are pretty lulyz.

Hey kids, know whats a good idea? Editing your crap and proof reading stuff, which I obviously didn't do! Cause I'm a ninny!

What the bubble ought to say:

"Hey man, not to be a pry or anything, butttt... But I don't think hitting on the little sister of particularly angry and outright blood thirsty werewolf, who happends to be the biggest mofo in town is the brightest of moves. Just saying."

I just might use this guy in a comic some time.
